Whale lands on yacht

I had seen that this morning. That's one of those "you know it's gonna be a bad day when" pictures.

I had that happen to me a few times when I was single. I had to sit my friends down an explain the rules of the boat.

Not buying that story. I've tried to snap a photo of a whale breaching so many times and you just can't get the shot because you have to have the camera aimed and ready. It happens so fast. Funny how it is so perfectly focused and framed.

I buy the story, but the first photo looks shopped for sure. Maybe going for the shock effect?

The skipper seems to be looking somewhere else... could be photoshopped, yes.

I like "the saint" on the main sail :grin::grin: ...I wonder if you know that TV series in the USA!

Hmm. Got a photo of the whale coming out of the water. But no photo of the while "riding along as a passenger for awhile". Why not? And really, how did that sailboat accomodate that 40 ton passenger (or even part of it)?

A digital camera with more features can have a picture so perfectly focused and frame by using a telephoto lens with a high fps (frames per second). My camera has a 6.3 fps and will shoot up to 99 frames in a row. There's also a feature that it will keep a moving object in focus.

So about the story, the only way to know if it did happen if we know this person. Either way, its a scary thought!

It is a hoax for sure. No way that boat stays afloat if 40 freaking tons of blubber land directly on it.

Yeah, could definitely be a hoax like sotaman says. 40 tons is sure alot of weight for that blowboat.
