Whats your Boats name and what does it mean to you

We put our "new to us" boat in the water 2 weeks ago and named it after our one and only child "Ashley Kayla"

NANSEA for our 340 and NANSEA TOO for our 190... My wife and girlfriend is named Nancy.... (same person)

No Thanks Dad...named when we boated on the St. Johns River in FL. There were MANY GATERS on the river and we would only let our kids swim in certain areas (They were only bite size snacks back then). We were toying with other names, but every time I asked them if they wanted to out on the boat this weekend they would say..."No Thanks Dad"...I guess it just stuck from that point on.

Old Yeller...... She was named that when I bought her.... but it really fits, and not just because of the color....although it helps.

My boats name is PHRYGEMALL,
because of all of the comments I recieved when I bought it. Can you afford that? You cant go in the ocean with that. Its too big! Its not big enough!Your truck can't tow that!Etc ,ETC,ETC. And I'll give you a hint---not my side of the family! Ha -- you should have seen thier faces when they walked around the back of the boat after the kids told them I named it.

Old Skool. the boat vintage speaks to the name. I used to have an Old Yeller when I lived in Wi but sold her when we moved to SC many years ago. Now I have Old Skool to play with. I love rebuilding toys,68 SS impala fast back w/ 327, 78 S10 with 350 Chevy, 86 olds 98 with 455 cutlasss engine, IH Scout with 345 and 3 inch lift 32 mudders, turbo charged 750 Honda (ps. 12 lbs boost blows motor up)...... the list and money trail go on and on and on.........

Logged Off is the name of my 290 Amberjack. I am a technologist for an investment bank and I am always connected to work except for when I am out on the water which is when I am "Logged Off"!!!)

I hope one day that we have enough to find enuff , until then we are happy with what we have which is "Knott Enuff".

My wife and I have had four boats starting with a hull I rebuilt and hung an old 30 horse Johnson on. It had plastic seats from K mart and a home made plexiglass windshield but we thought it was great. We always thought "wouldn't it be marvelous to own a BIG boat". Two brand new crownlines later we traded up to a 330DA and we couldn't be happier. I derived the name from our two names Margy and Bill and Us - hence MarBilous. We had a great first summer on the beautiful Okanagan lake in Kelowna and look forward to many more. Great to hear all the stories from others. Thanks

Our boat is named Trouble Maker. a '97 330 sundancer - new to us this season.

Me and the wife run across Erie all the time to Canada, and up to Put -N- Bay, and most of our friends who have larger boats ask if we ever been scared to cross Lake Erie on such a small boat. To which me wife said, some times the trips are a little erie..............

My boat is named "Port Alone". When my kids were growing I always joked with them that when I retired I wanted to be "Left" alone, hence Port Alone. Unfortunately, the 280DA is ready for retirement, however I am not ($$$$)

The boat we're just about to trade in (330 Dancer) is Liquid Asset because I'm a financial advisor.

The new 550 will be named Beachcomber because that's the style of boating we like....just poking around in the dinghy when we get to a new area, walking the beaches looking for treasures, etc.

Panacea - as the signature says, she's the Greek goddess of healing. I'm Greek and always liked Greek mythology. In English it means: A remedy for all diseases or ills; a cure-all.

I can't think of any better description for my boat. No matter what, being on her seems to cure all.

Sea Notes II.

A play on Sea Notes (I'm a musician) and C-Notes (what it took to get a bigger boat!)

We had a 2009 sea ray 220 sundeck named AQUADESIAC. We bought it new in April and put it in storage and the building burned down in December. Only good thing to come out of it was buying a bigger boat (a 260 Sundeck) should I name it or is it bad carma?
