Looks good Steve. I havn't seen one of those segmented (bottom of your picture) measuring sticks in years. Do you still use it?

But I wanna know who was using the 1/2" impact on the hold down nuts that you had a cracking problem? They are nylok nuts that only need to be snugged not torqued!
Our boat actually has an aluminum bar wrapped in plastic that spans two of the batteries. The genny batt has the cracked one you show though.

Not a torqueing issue. The only way to get into my engine compartment is to step down on top of the batteries.

Look great...will follow up for my broken straps...will loopk for you at "Da Spit" or Cohasset sandbar this summer..THINK SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup:
 
That is a great Idea, I think I am going to replace mine too. The original black ones never seem to work correctly and they always seem to break.
