Hi,
I have a 97 Sea Ray BR and was going to add a name to the back of the boat. I am wondering what is Sea Ray's lettering script so I can look to match that style of font in the boat name.

Thanks,

It's a custom font. Some people think that Brush Script is similar but I'm not one them, personally. A graphics shop will be able to get you something that flows with the picture in your head.

Remember that others need to read your boat's name to hail you via VHF or in case of emergency services agency's need to identify and locate your boat. Avoid small busy and complicated fonts and funky spelling or weird shading for that reason. I have a friend who named a 400EC "Phantasea" and used an ornate script font with black lettering with s gold outlines and silver shading and no matter how close or how far away you are, you cannot read it.

A good graphics guy will be able to match the fonts.
We matched the font of "Texas Belle" on the little SeaRay to the logo of the company that the wife worked for.

Our graphics guy had to create an "X" and a "S" to make the font work.

I love the name of your boat. I wanted to name ours BOILERUP because my husband and I both went to Purdue University. :)

I just got a 1990 210 BR and also wanted my name font to match Sea Ray. Uncovered a font called Juergens Italic that looks pretty close and downloaded the font files from http://www.dafont.com/juergen.font .. then I went to all the boat lettering sites on the web but none of them had this font as a choice but the folks at Doityourselflettering told me to do all my design work on their site, add to my cart but don't purchase just email them the design # and the font files and they'd send me a proof with the Juergens font. Anxious to see how it turns out.

Got the proof back from doityourselflettering and concluded that the Juergens fonts are not as close as the Brush Script font (which is close except for the lowercase letter "y" so I'm going with that. Here are some examples for comparison: First is the actual Sea Ray logo, then the Brush Script that many suggest and last is the 3 versions of Juergens of which Bold is closest.
