I was lucky enough to attend. It was awesome. It actually was very well coordinated and I don't know of any major occurrences. (Yes, there were arrests and injuries, but I didn't hear of anything that was horribly bad when considering the shear number of boats and people there.)

The official attendance count was 4000 boats and 35000 people.............. maybe Sea Ray needs to buy a T-Shirt company now. :smt043

Man.. that looked well organized. I showed this to a few people and they were blown away with the amout of boats and people.

Just wondering with 35,000 people and lots of drinking. What the water quality was after with no tides :grin:

We too were in row three off of stage right about 75 feet from the outside end. Standing on the bow of the 280 DA next to us, we had an unobstructed view of the stage. It was a fabulous weekend and an amazing event.

We got to Alabama on Friday afternoon and went over the event. We did not stay overnight (the wife was not sleeping onboard). We came back Saturday morning and got our spot.

I can't wait until next year... I hope it is close enough that we can attend! :grin::thumbsup:
