Is this mainly based on season or by hours?

Could be both. Change the oil at the end of every season or when you reach the number of hours threshold as set by your engine manufacturer.

Once a season or every 100 hours - whichever comes first. Same with drive lube.

This info should be in your manual - or you can find a manual on Sea Ray's website.

I could swear mine is every 50 hours?

I go by that anyway, because our boat is mostly under stress from wakeboarding and other watersports. I actually did the last one at 40 hours.

They did the change during winterization (at 72 hours) and I plan on a change at around 110 hours. I think thats about how long I would go with a boat used harder than just cruising.

And yes, before any kind of longer term storage, I would change it all out regardless of the hours.

What I have FAILED at, and dont shoot me, but I have YET to wax it since we bought it :smt021

my manual says every 100 hours or anually.

Huh, no wonder my oil still looked pretty damn good. Oh well, Ill stick with more frequent changes as the engine takes a good amount of strain.
