I know everyone keeps this kind of stuff close to the vest, but I'll try anyway. We got our new 'Dancer in April & I just got our fishing license. I'm wondering about some good spots to take the kids out in the Bay for a day. Anyone have any suggestions (your secrets are safe with me)? Also, besides Rocks, what is everyone catching? Thanx!

Try this site. Good luck!

Thanks FS & BCG. You knew I'd ask..."seven foot knoll"?

If you click on the map of the Upper Bay in the link I provided earlier, it will expand so you can see all the local names of the fishing areas that they refer to in the report. "Seven Foot Knoll" is one of them. It's near the mouth of the Potapsco.

Thanks again all - the links & info are very helpful (and I did learn where Seven Foot Knoll is:thumbsup:. I'll check Fish Bones as well. I'm new to the Bay fishing scene entirely but try to sneak in as much surf fishing as possible. Also check out www.fishthesurf.net.

Tight lines!
