Hey saw your post here, any specific topics you wanted to discuss. We got ours in September 08, it was brand new at the time, was never sold from dealer. So far we have just had small issues here and there, nothing major. We love the boat so far, moved up from a 240.

Your going to love the boat. Great interior design, sits real nice in the water and your tvd/320's will have you dancing around the tighest spots even in gusty conditions. We are going on Season 3 with it. Bought brand new after seeing it at the Fort Lauderdale and Miami Boat shows. We upgraded from a 260DA. The big difference is you loose the speed and on plane agility that comes with your smaller I/Os. This boat is very heavy. They did a nice job forgoing the walk around and popping the cabin out. Give the boat a broad look.

Couple things to keep in mind.

1. Make sure you have good condinsation drainage from you forward AC unit. We had drainage into the non draining forward bildge and when I hopped up on plane all the water drained into the cabin. Had to have all the carpets professionally clean of staining. Make sure you don't bock the AC ventilation and monitor temps. In the hot mugy months have had to thaw out the unit after it turned to a block of ice.

2. When my marina pulled my boat last year the aft sling markers were too far back and the sling craddled the outdrives. Thankfully no season ending damage. MarineMAx had to move my sling markers 2 foot forward.

3. Engine room gives you little room to manuver during maintenance. Be careful where you step.

Other than that we've also had some smaller issues that have shaken out over the two year period. Some cabin/cockpit fiberglass thin spots that need filling, sliding cabin door hinge needed re-inforcing.

Best of luck with your boat and keep in touch. Were splashing ours April 3rd. Looking forward to a great summer and hopefully gas prices stay low.

:smt017.....those sling marks would have to be off the boat to get the outdrives......

LOL Thats what happens when your doing two things at once, :smt101 meant Inboard Vdrive shafts.

we have a 2007 310 it is a year since we purchased new 350 mag v drive put 162 hrs on her easy to service compared to my 270 the 2009 model have a nicer trim where the sliding cabin door is Marine Max put some cheezy looking rubber there after my wife cut her foot.I just installed a fishfinder onto the c-80 we love the boat. The factory did not seal the rail and the headliner had to be removed to leak in the middle of our bed coming thru the headliner.Looking for ideas for camper canvas we belong to a Sea Ray boat club that has 65 to 100 boats in it so I have been looking at everyones canvas.

As I said before we had 240 for about 6 months before moving up to this 310 which is a 2007 but was brand new. We now have about 25 hrs on it. What is the usual maintenance schedule on these? Never have really owned a large boat like this before. Thanks for any help.

By the way, when we bought it we had our local Sea Ray dealer install a complete campas canvas on it, so in response to the last post on here, I'll try and take some pics when we're out this weekend so you can see how it was setup.

Suprised you got your dealer to installed camper canvas on your boat with V-drives. It really makes a difference dockside in bad weather. I was told that due to liablity issues they would not provide.... Issue was carbon monoxide and un-educated boaters cruising while enclosed... Guess I got punk'd by Marine Max once again.

They didn't actually install the canvas at the dealership but hooked me up w/ a local guy who did the work. But it was part of the deal for the boat, so they footed the bill. It's well worth it to have, so much more room in the cockpit to move around when weather isnt great rather than the standard canvas that comes with the boat. I totally forgot to take a picture last time of but I'll try this weekend.
