Ok, Christmas will be here before we know it and my wife will be asking me what I want for Christmas. Usually I tell her nothing and end up with a wallet or cologne :smt089.

But this year I have a list. Since I am just getting back into boating, there are a few things that I want/need for the boat that she can pick from and should be within her price range.

These are the things that I want/need for next season that would make a nice gift:

  1. Handheld spot light. I have one mounted on the bow, but there is nothing like having a 1000 watt handheld when you are out at night.
  2. Handheld VHF. Always good to have a back-up.
  3. Boat Shoes/Sneakers.
  4. Fishing gear
  5. New Fenders
  6. Cheap laptop to leave on the boat (marina has wifi)
  7. Bedding for the boat.(sheets, pillows, etc)
  8. Towels for the boat
  9. Plates, silverware, glasses (plastic)
The kids are getting inflatable life vests
I already have a 2nd set of tools and a cordless drill, so I should be good in that area. I'm planning on adding fish finder capabilities so I will be purchasing a transducer and DSM module.

Any other recommendations?

I asked for and got the Sirius weather module (installed even) for my Raymarine C80… Great Wife!

If you don't already have one, a CSR burgee!

If I were you, I would ask for a level.

Aren't those items ones the wife typically asks for?? SB

my list has only 1 thing on it.

More time with the ones i love.....

preferably on the water.......

This is what I have on my Xmas short list:

If your adding a fish finder, what about GPS? The Hummingbird has side scan sonar, GPS, hot maps, etc.

I'm not getting squat, my wife just bought me my new Mac, re-finished my basement including bathroom a urinal, new 52" LCD, huge sectional, and a trip to Costa Rica in December...... that should about cover it for Xmas and B-day. But I am asking for a US flag, pole and flush mount kit for the boat:thumbsup:
