Hello, folks. I have a 2005 185 Sport OB. There are two fabric screens that attach with Velcro and sort of hide the gas tank/transom. I am looking to replace them as they are embedded with mildew that isn’t coming out. Anyone know what these are called and where I can buy replacements. Much thanks for any help. -MJD

Just paint them with spray paint formulated for "plastic". Doubtful you can find a replacement part for an 18 year old boat.

Are you talking about the grey canvas pieces that snap on? Wash them with detergent and a little bleach.

Or, use them as templates to make new ones (or have a local upholsterer make them).

Thanks. yeah, I washed them. Prob have to get a little more aggressive on the bleach. Thought about the template idea too. I think I’ll do both. Thanks!

I guess I was in error when I posted. My mind said plastic screen, not fabric.

Yeah, wash it. Better yet, buy some fabric and make a new one. My wife makes awesome parts for me with her sewing machine, or local seamstresses work pretty cheap. A new snap kit costs almost nothing.
