Inflation

Dayum! We paying 4.25. Which is same as last fall, even when car prices are at 3.40.
But I can deal with it. Got a full tank for $325 including tip for the gas kid. Should last me all June. Come July will use less, when water gets real warm and we can start taking Zodiac around river to the waterfront bars.

We LOVE to go to dinner and get a couple of fancy mixed drinks. For me it's usually a bourbon kind of drink. They are $15+ now, which is $60+, plus tax, plus liquor tax, plus tip...I pregame more than I used to.

Ice Cream is pure crap, agreed, but damn is it good. Turkey Hill was 2 for $6 last year I think when on sale. Now it's $7 a gallon, and I swear the container is smaller.

I agree with Ice Cream and high fat. I have cut all the sugar I can out of my diet. Did find some Keto friendly ice cream which is very (almost none) sugar.
 
Will you SOBs stop talking about Ice Cream. I have cut as much fat out as possible and the big culprit was ice cream. Man do I miss it. :)

I got one small burger and one small fry at five guys last night, $14. While I was waiting for my order a guy came in, I think waiting for it to go order, with a small plastic bag, and filled it up with they're free peanuts peanuts. I thought the idea was to snack on them while you wait come on not take a bag home.

Personally I love the new high prices, it's the greatest new thing. Pay check goes up x% and cost of living goes up 2x%.

Inflation and tips at fast food places. Now motels and hotels are adding a service fee. When asked why; it was to help the staff live better. Asked why they do not raise rates and pay staff more. Have no idea if employees are paying "TAX" on new added benefit. Have no idea if employees are getting full fee or is the owner charging a service to the employees to administrate the charge.
