Who owns this boat?

There is a website out there that allows you to locate the owner information when you put in the name of the boat.

Can any of you help this poor ol' boater out by giving me a link to it?

This will let you look up by documented name https://cgmix.uscg.mil/psix/psixsearch.aspx

I am not sure of any other, although I am sure there are some.

There is also marinetraffic.com that will let you search on commercial vessels and those transmitting an AIS signal.

Owner's information is no longer published. I believe that stopped a few years ago.

Was it documented by a previous owner? That is true of mine but it’s been expired for years.

Yes, the original owner had it documented, but under a different boat name. I never documented it.
After I posted I was thinking…my ships radio license and mmsi registration is through the feds. (vs boat US). Maybe that ties it in through the coast guard.

Yeah, it's a drop down for the type of activity the vessel is registered for... not if your serice it up to date! That's too funny!

Captain's Choice - 2004 comes up with nothing for me. What's the boat name?

Be sure to change the start date, it defaults to 2018. I set mine back to 2001 and a record returned.

Your Document is off also, your depth shows 8.3 and the weight looks strange like mine does - 45 - Simplified, Gross Ton. That would be 90,000 lbs. big boat. Mine states 43 Ton, and I am only 36,000 lbs. I don't understand how they calculate that.

I have my Build sheet and it states the same thing, 9.6 feet deep. No weight is listed there though.

There is only Build Year on the initial page.

Captains choice. Type the name and search, second from the bottom shows my HIN, records show our boarding in the Elizabeth River in may ‘17, and Erie PA in ‘14 but none of the boardings after that. Boat’s an ‘04 but listed there as an ‘03.
