Anyone interested in Lake Erie Sea Ray Rendezvous?

Miller's Marina would be great and so would Seaway at Kelly's. Just hope my schedule allows me to be there. I can't wait to retire!

I do agree about bathrooms never use them at Sea Way. Millers would also work just throwing it out there to get people thinking about next seasons. B Dock comes to mind when you say PIB not the best for a get together.
Millers is perfect …. You have the pavilion. We can still get close together in the well on the pavilion side…. Normal bathrooms…. Easy walk to downtown or rent a cart there

I know any given weekend there will be people that have a problem with it but that's the way it goes. I for one wouldn't have a preference early or late summer. If we shoot for early summer to kick off the season we could also do something a the Paper District at the end it.

Okay I am throwing out the weekend of June 10th…. Friday Saturday Sunday. Any interest?

I am with Jim and Deb this weekend that manage Millers. I’ll ask what they think and what commitment needs to be made

can we get a list of maybes ???

Maybe List:
Blueone
New Horizon
Dvx216
Christo
Planeguy
Lake Erie boater
Duffman04

Sign me up for either Friday or Saturday one night, whatever works best for all.

Sounds fun to me, I’ll try to make it Blue:) it’d be great to put faces with the names on CSR.

Be careful what you ask for.IMG_20211127_100715336_BURST000_COVER_TOP.jpg

I would love to join in that weekend if I am back up walking and able to go. I will be having back surgery in February and when that is well underway healing I have to have neck surgery. Hoping this doesn't kill my boating season for 2023.

You can be a ferry boater…. We won’t make that much fun of you :)

I'd love to but have to convince my wife. She has a 'comfort zone' and I know she would be a nervous wreck on Erie. And we don't own a Sea Ray....lol. Would a Crownline fit in? We used to have a SR...lol

Started my Lake Erie boating to the Islands on a 1988 230 We. on a normal day on the lake you'll be fine. You put in at the ramps at the old Marine Max on Rt. 53 in Catawba Island which brings you out to the lake on West Harbor and your right in the middle of Kelleys and South Bass aka PIB. If I'm at my marina when your there you can follow me over.

We took a 240 sun deck over a number of times. If you launch off of Catawba like @dvx216 said it’s a very short ride

Boat isn't the concern. My wife still gets nervous boating, even after 7 years...lol. She is comfortable in our 'pool' between locks. Took 6 years for her to be ok going through the locks. She HATES putting the boat on the trailer and taking it off, even though she doesn't do anything...lol. There are always people at the marina to help while I run the boat. My concerns would be more of not being familiar with the water and possible hidden obstacles like shallow water. Being in our river I know the area well so never needed to read charts, etc. But I would be up for it

you would have to try really hard to run a ground. If you stay on the west side of PIB between Green island there are no water issues

If you will have a "former" Sea Ray guy, and long time lurker on this site, we'd like to join the party. We'd love docking with all of you just to stay with the group. That said we are Park Place (Keys) members and if need be can stay there to make room for other Sea Ray's!
