Martha

Is this a commercial that plays during the Law and Order marathons? :cool:

Need more details!!!! And pics or it didn't happen o_O
 
I have no idea what you're talking about. But this is the Martha that comes to mind for me. This talking dog show is still ingrained from my kid's PBS cartoon days. I didn't mind it so much, but my wife hated it almost as much as Caillou, the bald whiney French-Canadian cartoon pre-schooler. Horrible beyond words.

Wow, some serious Martha hate going on here….I get it though, on some older show marathons we like to watch (like Law & Order SVU) there is a Lumie (SP?) commercial about some doctor lady talking about ‘rubbing a pea-sized bead of this odor-killer between your butt cheeks, the average butt check odor level after just a shower is 9 to 10, and after a shower WITH Lumie your butt crack odor will be a 1, or even 0’. I keep telling my wife I want to see this testing of the odor level…..or volunteer to help if the model selection warrants……LOL. At any rate, if that lady Ever walks down the street in front of us, she’s dead and my wife is in prison for the brutal crime!
 
We get Jimmy (Dy-no-mite!) and Joe Namath, the old Jets QB, both of whom look terrible, hawking the Medicare-Advantage Plans. It must really be lousy being an old, used, actor or sports star!
 
There is now a Martha puppet pushing Medicare! Not sure if Martha croaked or what but the puppet looks and sounds like Martha. I've only seen it once and I'm not sure what channel it was

I just saw this commercial on Motortrend! OMG! This is the worst most annoying commercial I have seen in a while and yes massive hate going on here.
 
Just saw it for the first time too. Hideous. Sorta reminds me of the where’s the beef lady. That same annoying want to punch them in the face voice.
 
Freaked me out when I saw this post my wife’s name is Martha!!! her family is from Cuba apparently it was a popular name there in the 60’s not so common in the US in decades if not more.
my Martha looks nothing like those “ old bags” !she still wears bikinis…..

How could anyone believe that that commercial would help their cause! I watched Sesame Street when my little sister was hogging the TV. I grew up since then.
 
For the last few months every few days I get an e-mail from some organization.

Same time period all the old hasben stars are on TV promoting zero dollars and give back.

During the last few weeks my phone has been ringing off the hook from mostly women trying to get me to tell them my zip code so they can sell me insurance.

I'm simply sick of it all and I apologize for being nasty to the ladies on the phone.

I just saw Marthe on TV today while I was watching the Noon news. I LAUGHED and Laughed and Laughed. It was sooooo funny.

I'll take Martha any day.
