Ordered a new car.

Geez, forgot to crop it.

There we go.

Looong......
Obviously a matter of taste. But I don't get buying these huge vehicles that do not fit into most parking garages, unless you are a trades person who needs the truck bed for hauling materials. I used to see secretaries dressed to the nines getting out of big trucks that they used for commuting to office jobs. Then there is the matter of paying hundreds to fill them up at the pump to get to work. While the choice is theirs to make, don't get the logic.

Ya. Less positive about arrival in West Michigan than before but still guessing February. Time to order some new winter rims and tires as my current winter wheels are too small for the 911 brakes on the GTS. Poor timing. I just put new winter tires on the S car and will need to find a buyer for those when the new one arrives.

Just found out the car will be delivered in February.
Some of you puppies may not know but back in the day it was normal to go to a dealer and spend the afternoon ordering a new car with exactly what options you wanted. None of this package crap. Every single option was custom built on YOUR car.
Ya, it was how it was done back in the day. Typically done in February so your shiny new car arrived in spring after the snow/salt so you got one year before it started turn into a rusted hulk.
Oh, and immediately after delivery you took it to Ziebart to have the whole underside coated in tar to hold off the rust for maybe a year.
Good times.
