Looks like a boat yard helper had steel toe boots and scratched my gel coat on my steps. Can you please recommend a fix for this? I tried compounding but no real success. Thx

Colored gecoats are usually very thin so do not let the boat yard try to sand them out until they order some pewter gelcoat by HIN# for your boat from Sea Ray. Sea Ray had an adherence problem with some pewter gelcoated boats and they tried several different pewter gelcoats to get one that solved the adherence problem. Use the wrong part number gelcoat and the patch will not match and will standout like a different color gelcoat.

Pewter is a hard color to match so pick a fiberglass guy who is very experienced and don't sand any more than necessary or a 4" long scratch becomes a 12" repair.

Good luck with it……………..

I really think you can sand them out gelkote scratched will take that look sometimes. Try small area 1st to see. Cant see them spraying white on white basically. But spectrum will have your color in a patch paste or spray they are in Florida
Good luck
