Our microwave stopped working after we continuously used the microwave for about 30 minutes the other night. The breaker was not tripped so I assume I either blew a fuse or burned up the microwave. Is there a fuse and if so where is it? Any other ideas? If I need to pull the microwave has anyone ever done that and how do I remove it? Thanks

Does the light inside or on the display work? If anything lights then it isn't the GFCI or an internal fuse. Removing the microwave starts with finding the screws on the top of the cabinet directly under the microwave. Should be 4 screws and with washers under there.

Thanks for your reply. The light inside and the display did not work. That is what made me think it might be a fuse. Is there an internal fuse other than the circuit breaker? I thought the electrical schematic showed a 10 amp fuse?

Guys need some opinions on my salon ac I have a 08 44 dancer that I keep in knoxville tn lake water temp is around 86. Average outside Temps are high 80s low 90s. I feel that my salon ac is not performing as it should it runs constantly just to keep the boat at 72 and if we have a crew on board going in and out starts jumping up to mid 70s with no chance of coming back down also i run the master and it seems to cycle off and keep the master cooler. Wanted to know everyone's thoughts before I yank it out and throw a new one in.

Mine sits in Lake Lanier in similar temps. Opening the cabin door a lot makes it work much harder. I run both units all the time at 70-72 and they cycle on and off. Have the refrigerant checked. Might’ve a good idea to hook it up to dock water and blow anything out that may be in the system. My bet is you need a little charge on the refrigerant and keep the door closed during the day.

I recently found that my salon and forward cabin units weren't putting out cold enough air, so I had my home AC guy come out to charge each unit. The salon unit is frigid now, but its effect is largely diminished if the cabin door is left open. The forward cabin is not as cold and I will be flushing that unit out with barnical buster hoping the water outlet flow will increase and the air gets colder. If not, I'll get my AC guy back to check the coolant pressure again.

I have Vesselview 502 display and an Airmar B60 thru hull transducer that's supposed to give me the sea water temperature, but can't find where to configure it so that it displays on the 502 and therefore my Garmin 7612's!
Anyone have an idea where this gets configured?

I was there Tuesday night for a couple drinks. Thought I saw you post you’d be up there but didn’t see your boat. We are going back Friday late afternoon but you’ll probably be gone. Hope you had a good time.
We were there Tuesday night last week. We left Wednesday morning….. we were on the center pier out the front door. Too bad we missed each other

My middle step into the salon is cracked. It’s been getting worse as time goes on as people are constantly stepping on it. I have a feeling this is a common design flaw because I noticed one of the previous 44s had the same issue while I was boat shopping. Has anyone else encountered this and what are your suggestions to fixing it? My idea is to screw in a bolt on each side….

I always thought that was not a crack, but a seam since all three of my steps have them and they're perfectly straight. Only the middle step has had movement in it since I bought the bought last year and just the other day I decided to insert a few shims under the leading edge of that step, which closed the gap and now it no longer moves when stepped on. Depending on whether the shims stay in place, I may at some point in the future, remove the shims, insert wood adhesive in the gap and reinsert the shims.
Below is a link to the hard plastic shims that I used. You insert them until they bottom out then snap the excess off.

If you view my picture the crack in mine is perfectly straight as well, but only on the one step. Maybe these steps come in two pieces and are glued together? I may try your solution because I am hesitant to putting long screws into the step.

Hey guys my buddy has a 05 42 and is asking me to help him with an electronics upgrade. I have always been a Raymarine guy and he current has some original Raymarine stuff on the boat including his autopilot. I know I can get Sam at Technografic to cut me new panels for the dash but what fits? Can you guys with newer stuff post me some pics and ideas. Looks like 12 inch in front of the wheel but what fits to the left? Need you help so I can spend his money

I’ve got 12” Garmins in both locations. I don’t think you could go any bigger than that in the left panel, but I believe recall seeing a 15” in the right panel if you eliminate the analog gauges.
Sam may know better than anybody. I recently got a quote from him for all five panels, including the panel where the upper right AC defuser is and a 1/4 round one that would cover up the area where the Raymarine auto pilot is.
The Garmin unit is smaller and will not cover all the holes when I get around to updating it. The other option I’m considering is to have him make a blank panel to cover the holes and use the new larger 5” Garmin GHC 50 touch screen autopilot display to take up more space on the blank panel. I need it in hand to decide.

I had 2x Axiom+ 12" in my 07 44DA.

Agree Sam would be able to confirm.

Has anyone successfully fixed their instrument panel backlighting? If so what was your method? I literally use the flashlight on my phone to read the Contura toggle switches.

I replaced the factory tube light with an blue LED strip purchased from SuperBrightLEDs.com. I connected it directly to the dash dimmer switch and adhered it with a wide/long strip on double sided 3M tape, but left one side of the backing tape on. I also used the same stripe lighting to replace the faulty LED strip that wraps around the bed valance in the forward stateroom, using the same tape, which also worked out great..
