1990 350 sundancer with 350’s

You might want to grab the hull ID number. Something is amiss with the year/model.

All else being equal, and with a clean survey, I'd certainly favor the 400. Those boats should feel worlds apart in terms of interior space. But I'd also make a plan to get the generator back onboard as soon as feasible.

Shoot, a camper top on a 400 can run the same money as a generator! Well...maybe not fully installed. But certainly not chump change by any means.
Hell ya Stee, i recently got a new front canvas made last year year $1700. Got nearly new isinglass, the slant back canvas in great shape, a full new camper canvas, a nearly new cockpit cover. I prolly got $10k worth of nearly new canvas. It’s crazy what sunbrella costs.

Yeapper. I paid $8k +/- for new "non camper" canvas and isenglass in 2019. I'd expect full new camper canvas will be well over $10k these days. Insanity.

The last time I did a complete GLBT set for my boat it was about $2,700 for the whole set. Maybe 5 years ago? Quote this year was well over $4K. I really just need the back section so just changing that out for now.

It's awesome. Even full of fluids and with a 500lb dinghy on the back she runs like a champ.

Though back to your prior post - I certainly advocate for engines of all sizes but I would strongly recommend not buying a boat without a survey and a sea trial. There's a reason they took an offer of $10k less. You're going to find out that reason eventually.

Here's the 7.4's on a 400, 2/3rds tab, cruising at 23kts +/- with a beast of a dink on the platform. Not the best on fuel mileage but that's not why I bought the boat :)

What year is yours? I still am looking and considering a 91 400 ec. Is the dinghy just being pulled in the water? Or is it lifted out?

I've got a 97 400. That photo is with the dink on the platform. I'm not smart enough to figure out a towing bridle!
