Anybody here have them on there boats when you go on trips? Last year myself and a bunch of boating friends bought folding electric bikes. It was the best thing we ever did. It opened up so much more. No more Uber when going into new towns, we can see so much more and they are fun as hell! Even more after dinner and a few drinks. I would highly recommend them. These are what we currently have. Wife has the X5 and I have the Defiant. The Defiant is a little big for the boat so I'm looking into a scooter now.

Yup, we have a set of lectricebikes.com folding electric bikes. Perfect for cruising to new places
My brother-in-law has an lectricbike.
I rode it a couple of weeks ago, really liked it.
I did some research on it and they have some of the best customer service out there.
Although they're not sourced from the USA, they're at least assembled here, and they're CS is based here as well.
Now to convince the wife.

I bought one a month and a half ago, not folding as for my boat folding would not be an advantage. I plan to transport on a rack on the Aft Cabin bulkhead. I only rode it one time though so far. five minutes into the ride I had the worst angina I ever experienced and three weeks later had double by-pass surgery. Just itching for the sternum to heal so I can get back on the E horse! I bought an Ecotric Seagull mountain bike after hours and hours of research.

Holy Crap Batman. Hope you doing better. Speaking of sternum itching, when happened to my dad he said the sternum itching was the worst part.

No itch but when a sneeze sneaks in, that is a ride I rather avoid. 4 weeks into recovery on Tuesday, counting the days till I get my driving mitts so I can start getting to the boat! Ill wait 12 weeks to start riding the bike.

We picked up a pair of go trax electric scooters instead of an e-bike.. awesome as well - 15-20mph and you get approx 15miles on a charge. The handles fold down and lock in place which makes getting them on/off the boat easy. Maybe a tad heavy, but not too bad. We constantly zip around town on them - think of it as your own personal bird or lime scooter. Beats renting a scooter or golf cart - and as others have mentioned, we’ve ventured farther out than we would have expected.

I considered all three, well not the hover board as I have tried to balance on one of them and was lucky I did not end up in traction! I just think the bikes are so much safer and versatile. You can install removable carriers and such to carry the beer for instance. The scooters do take less room on board but for longer rides I would think they would be less comfortable and not provide the same level of exercise a bike would.

I'm just getting both..lol. I like the compact size of the scooter. I think I'll get into more trouble with that also. After all we have boats to have fun..LOL. At 40mph should be interesting, but like you said I have to look for a beer holder for it. And they sell a folding seat also.

I like the knobby tires. Post a link to that model please.

We rented electric bikes in tarpon springs and rode down to Clearwater and back. I was against getting electric ones but my wife insisted. I rode down there in manual mode to get some exercise but realized my wife's brilliance on the way home riding in the high 90's. It was so much fun. Will probably pick up a couple in the near future.

Have a couple of full size trek but too big for a sundancer. We've looked a bit into compact bikes and scooters. We ran across these which peaked an interest, since we have limited storage. Haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet.

Scooter model is on post #1

We have room on our platform so we bought Super 73 ZX bikes. They are amazing. We added a rack to one for provisioning. The height of the seat and the comfort was the best we found. Check them out.
