Seatow Discount Code or Promotion

I’m thinking of switching to Seatow from BoatUS. Are there any discounts codes or promotions out there? Is there any good reason to go with one over the other? My area is well cover by both.
 
I have had BoatUS for a long time and have been happy. Have had to use them a couple of times over the years and saw no reason to switch.

Years ago I was told that seatow operations make most of their money from membership fees whereas BoatUS made less on membership and more on tows. I don't know if this is true but if it is it gives BoatUS more incentive to respond and handle more tows.

I’m going to stick with BoutUS. It just so happened that I needed a tow this past weekend. The pull cord on my brand new Yamaha 25hp got gamed up and I couldn’t get it started. I requested a tow on the BoutUS app and received a call within 10 minutes. The guy that came is a contractor for BoatUS and has a few boats in my area. It made me feel comfortable to renew with them.
 
Yup but what do you do if you’re an offshore boater? You need a tow service if you break down.
Just don’t admit to taking on water if it’s not serious.
 
If I could make an argument for TowBoat over Seatow...TowBoat has a lobby group that fights for the rights of boaters, SeaTow does not. Since we all love boating and usually do not like government restrictions it would seem that when spending roughly the same amount of money, and access to both companies than TowBoat would only be helpful for everyone as we need as big of a voice as possible on the hill. JMTC
