Anyone see this video yet? It says coming soon to recreational. Pretty impressive numbers in the test video.

Yes, I think designs like this will be industry standard in years to come. They've been testing similar designs in different applications such as wind turbines.

Any info on pricing? If they could price less than market, they would be a "disrupter"....

Nothing I can find yet, I'm sure it won't be cheap

It does say it's made of aluminum, so maybe the idea is to not bother with repairs past minor imperfections. The price will tell that story...
Seems they are targeting the larger vessels - I've had a rash of bending props (twice in a year) - replacing a 27X30 may be out of the question.....

I am just as curious, so your post prompted me to send them an email. I will let you know what I find out.

Matt
It’s been a couple years now and not much on the internet. I am curious because I do 5 axis machining and they are as well ….. my machines are north of $175 an hour and there are tons of hours of machining in those props. So to even remotely make it affordable you would have to cast and polish but so many prop configurations the tooling wouldn’t make sense…. So to me they are in a tough manufacturing/cost problem

Even if they are BETTER than sliced bread, the cost is ridiculous. Looks like they aren't selling like hotcakes, so maybe others think the same way.

I'm sure I'm like everyone else in that I think these props provide legitimate results but the pricing just puts too many dollars at risk under the water. Around here there are shallows and obstacles everywhere and it's almost inevitable that you'll bump something sometime if you do any exploring. Now, with my SS prop, I take it down the road and for $150 I get it put back in shape. If it's performance alone I was looking for I'd just chip my 300 Yamaha for pennies compared to this prop.

Most reports I have seen appear to use a biased baseline test. How about running a boat that is properly propped with an enertia eco or Rev4, a good prop, then compare results. It likely has some benefit, nothing near what they are claiming, and can never make sense from a return on investment until the cost is reduced 60%.

My boat neighbor, who also owns a 390DA, is acquainted with one of the Sparrow principles and keeps bugging them to have them use his boat for testing an inboard version.
They are making an inboard version. Although it says min size is 27”.

Got this via Boattest today: https://sharrowbyveem.com. Apparently a partnership to make the inboard props Sharrow has never managed to get to production. Website is completely evasive about ultimate availability and pricing. But, I did do the preorder, $100 fully refundable, so what the heck. If they come out with a reasonably priced prop next year or later, maybe I'll get some.
