I taught him how to disassemble and clean a groco strainer yesterday, we went fishing today.
I'm the old dude on the right, grandson Carson and Dad JD.
Off to the Flying Fish for a cook your catch dinner later.
Will teach him how to install canvas snaps tomorrow, he is 9 now, quickly going by.
Next week is my last week of official employment, think we need to do more of this.

Congrats on retirement. I am done on September 7. Some Indian company took over support function jobs at CSX. My ‘position’ was eliminated after 28 years. One week after I turn 70. Corporate speak for you old bastard it’s time to go. No matter, frankly I am done. Great severance package and railroad pension. Funny thing, I got an email today offering me a position with the Indian company. But would have to give up the severance. Oh hell no!!! Come 9/7 I will be boating every day, done with the work stuff.
Severance is they pay full salary and benefits for another year 9/2023. So they are paying me full to go away for a year. Take that all day.

Well....yep. I was on the right from my perspective. Not the cameras.
Just got back from an early dinner, JD and Carson heading home. Tomorrow, finish the hatch cover for the capt's qrtrs, get a plan up for a backflush system for my ACs, and pressure wash.
