Right, i know what that is. The pic was to show the "Elect" switch at the helm that's always lit blue and doesn't seem to do anything.
 
Mine currently only displays depth, 0 for speed. I see a small cylinder black plastic thing laying in the bilge behind the firewall, is that somehow related?

Mine doesn’t read speed either. Guessing I need to clean the wheel…
The transducers(2) are in the center of the bilge near the fire wall. With each transducer should be the plug, if you were to need to pull the transducer out for service, you can plug it with the cylinder that is attached to it. I haven’t seriously thought of pulling it to service….
 
I started another thread about replacing the anchor lights, LED, etc. I'd like to put the lights that should be in there in the anchor light, problem is all I have are the two that the previous owner installed that are not working.

I don't know which bulb is the anchor light and which is the navigation light. One appears to be taller than the other. What light bulb should I use to replace both that came from the factory?

I would almost think that something is wrong with the switch then or the switch has been improperly wired by Previous owner.
Remove the panel and remove a wire from the switch and see if the switch and gauge both go off.

that is a festoon bulb.
They are both the same just a little different shape.
I don’t believe that they are original. The bulb looks to be an LED. Bulb. I don’t think that Searay used LED in 2001.
 
Agreed, I assume they're not the originals, still wondering what the originals are, or at a minimum what should I replace these with?
 
They're festoons and they are measured in metric length typically. Just measure them and start typing them into Amazon. You can find something close to the originals.
 
Ok, I thought there was something unique about the light: all around, 360 degrees, miles viewable, watts, lumens, etc.

The top light in your earlier post is a filament Bulb. It is viewable 360 deg.
They make LED festoon bulbs that
Have LED diodes all the way around.
That’s what you would want if the
Light you are viewing needs to be seen all around. Other wise the LED diode only needs to point in the direction of shining through the lens area. Just google Festoon bulb and
You will find what you need. You spoiler has Festoon bulbs but they are unidirectional because they only need to shine down through the lens.
 
Replacing the interior cabin lights w/LED: I thought someone posted on here which ones they went with, the model #'s, where to buy them, etc. I can't find the thread now. I also checked my Inbox thinking maybe they messaged me directly.

For those who upgraded to all LED in the cabin:
  • What brand?
  • What model?
  • How many do I need? (I am not close to the boat to check)
Did you keep the brass lamps in the forward/aft cabin corners? Did you upgrade them to LED bulbs? Or a new lamp?

The little Eyeball lights are G4 1 bulbs
They fit in all but the large round lights in the ceiling. They even fit in the brass corner lamps in the corners forward and aft cabins.
The large ceiling lights take G4 T9 bulbs.


Theses are the ones for eyeballs and corner lights. I bought 2 packs of 10. I believe you need 12 total. Make sure that the bulb is the 30.5 mm length. If they are longer than that the bulb will hit the lens when installing.
