Official 370 Sundancer thread

essentially I am just trying to get the power hidden in the arch. I am wireless with Roku. Ideally I’d like to run it on 12v and set up a new 12v circuit under the wet bar right off the battery switch.

I've put my TV in the same location and tapped into the power from the icemaker (now fridge for me).
It's definitely the easiest solution.

Can you folks share any information on the mounts you used for your TVs and how they are attached? This may happen this summer on our boat.

Does anyone know the correct size festoon bulb for the cabin indirect lighting fixtures in a 1998? I guessed they were the same size as the cockpit courtesy lights and they do not seem to be…

I have my TV in the same location and went thru the 6" access cover to the outlet where the fridge was (empty storage now). I fished up to back of cover a 3-port extension. I can post picture when I get to boat today if you want to see it.

Looking for direction to help free very tight steering wheel on my 1995 370 DA. Any pictures or instructions of the mechanical steering components and route or has anyone serviced this same issue with any luck? Any "quick" fixs? Thanks

That would be great. Thanks!!

No problem on my way there now get back to you soon
I appreciate it. I assumed it was doable but I am finding every little thing to be more of a PITA on this boat than any other I have owned. There is no chance the that the parent company of Sea Ray doesn't own a large interest in the maker of Advil. No chance.

Ok. Assuming you have the same layout this is where the icemaker or fridge used to go on my boat …there is an outlet in that locker. it is fed from behind that locker up to the radar arch it’s a pain in the balls to fish it but you can do it. No cutting holes. No drilling.

Cool. Thank you for affirming this belief. Will give it a shot this weekend!

You have to put your ass in that locker all the way against the gunnel but you can do it

Not mechanical, it's hydraulic. Is it stiff and bumpy when turning, or is it more of a physical resistance, like corroded?
the shaft on the steering wheel, and the shaft that passes through the hydraulic cylinder are the only "moving" parts. You may also be fighting resistance of the rudders. I'd start with disconnecting the ram from the tie bar to the rudders and see if it gets easier. If not, then I'd start looking at the head unit first. It sees a lot more salt water/air.
