I didn't want to be a bother. You've probably got a lot to deal with every time you get to a new port!

Where are you at now? Make it to the river?
@Strypes was kind enough to bring me here and train me to handle the boat along the way.
A local captain from back home is taking me down the river because he already had years of experience with the river system so I am waiting on him to arrive today and we will leave Chicago in the morning. I was already committed to him before I met Strypes.
Knowing what I know now and having worked with Strypes. I wish I had scheduled the entire trip with him.
He’s an “under sell and over deliver” kind of guy and even though he didn’t have experience with the river system I realize too late that he would have been the best option to deliver the boat and myself home.
He is a top notch captain and obviously very careful with the boat.

Next to me is this old decrepit sailboat that absolutely does not fit in here.
If you zoom in you can see that it has sat here so long the curtains are rotting off the windows.
I am certain I have solved a half a century old cold case.

Absolutely amazing! I've driven over it countless times, been under it on a Shepler's ferry quite a few times, but on my own boat is a bucket list trip for sure...
Don’t you have a boat? Why on earth would you be taking Shepler’s to the island?

Close! 30mph-32mph according to Navionics. 29 point something mph-30 point something mph indicated.
Your speed was noticeable when you went under - the bridge went by fast! I suddenly found myself online today looking for a 680. One shows up in Chicago. Anyone interested in a like-new 55-58 sedan bridge?!?!

If I had known how that video was going to turn out we’d have went ahead and opened her all the way up for it.

Some quick math....carry the two, divide by...yeah....it looks like @Tucker K5 burned about $25-30 of fuel in the making of that 2:25minute long video. Smiles per gallon...smiles per gallon....
Never seen a hearse pulling a piggy bank.
