Its out of my hands now for a week or so, then it will be in my slip in a few weeks if all goes well. :)

The cockpit upholstery and dash paint/remodel will have to wait till fall.

This whole thread is inspirational. I can't wait for some pictures of you out on the water and just enjoying the fruits of your labor.

Yes ,Zool you are keeping me motivated to get my boat back together as well. Your work and boat look AWESOME!!
We have been fighting the weather and parts shortages. But I think I can see the light (boat ramp) in the near future. Hoping to be done with remodel and on the water before Memorial Day. Pictures to follow.

Side-bar question: When I was putting my mooring cover on after removing the shrink-wrap I found a few broken off male snaps (the ones screwed into the fiberglass around the windshield). They are broken off flush with the fiberglass so I can't grab them with vise-grips.
How do I get them out? To replace them? Any suggestion are welcome.

Thanks guys, though I didnt get as far as I wanted, Im happy overall with the progress. Im kinda happy it off to the marina so I can finish getting the center console ready for launch at the lake.

Try a screw extractor bit in a drill or impact, should come out easy. Then use a dab of epoxy when setting the new male snap screw and you should be fine.

Zool, she is looking really great. I have to say you have done a much more extensive job than I could have ever done if we had purchased her. Looking forward to seeing her in the water.

I was on the other forum last week and it got me thinking, what ever happened to the Imperial you were restoring?

Finally got my flooring down and the hatches cut out and some of the new carpet installed. While doing the tear out of the old Sea Ray colors the carpet on the stairs had to go, but my plan to retro install a 3 step pedestal will have to wait until next year. I found a 13" wide x 2" thick piece of white oak to fab some new stair treads.
Progress:

Thanks, she was musty inside and dingy outside, much needed. I did most of the structural work on the Imperial 280sf, but shying away from doing the cosmetics until a cheap pair of pre 92 VP small blocks falls my way.

Im in the middle of restoring the 72 checkmate, so im gonna move that project along after the SR and Century CC are launched.

Still plugging away at the 330DA. The weather up here around Spokane, WA has been super S#ity. But we have been putting her back together when we can.

Spent the day de-winterizing the water system, took a while getting all the pink out. Still having a few engine issues that have to be sorted out. Im still on a waiting list for a mechanic, but whatever, I can chill at the dock til its sorted out.

This project is amazing!
can I ask where you bought the chrome trim for the edge of the countertop?

Thanks for the kind comments guys. Since this is my 1st time dealing with vinyl wrap, i'd be more inclined to watch videos than make them, but ill be sure to summarize what products I used and how I used them, as well as some "in hindsight" comments.

Anyhoo, The galley is just about done. I wrapped the base cabinet and the back trim piece. I bought a roll of automotive chrome trim to delineate the seam between the base side, and the what is now the countertop.

I have a new faucet to install and the sink base door.

The bleach/water mix is working out perfect removing any trace of stains. A few more times on the tough spots will do it.

I am thinking of replacing the carpet in my 330 with something like a vinyl plank or ? How much of a pain was to pull the carpets ? In you opinion, would you do it again and was it worth it. We have 2 dogs and the carpet is just a fur trap. Any info is appreciated

It wasnt too bad at all, just tedious. You wont get it all out because it runs under the galley and some bulkheads, but that remains hidden. I did install an epoxy coated subfloor instead of leveling the base that was there. I would do it again for sure, removed a lot of the musty smell in the cabin.
