I have seen the trailers and obviously they look good. I really liked the first movie and I am thinking this one needs a big screen view….. I haven’t been to a movie theater a year or two before Covid …. But this movie might deserve it.

Part of the Admirals surprise birthday present on 5/25.
Liked the first one also and looking forward to it as we have not been to the theater in quite a while either.

The way prices are on everything these days, I tell someone I identify as a freaking eggplant if they would give me 10% off.
I was telling my kid to go to Costco early I go in all the time before 10:00. He says he tried but he is not a first responder or a senior…. That hurt a little bit since I am not a first responder.

First time I ever saw TopGun was memorable.

It had been out for a while, I wasn't real big on movies during that time period so had not been following it.

Was traveling for work and a friend I worked with talked me into seeing this movie he had heard about. This was the early days of some theaters experimenting with have more of a "experience" than just sitting in theater seats. This theater actually sold beer. That's what pushed me over the edge to go to a movie.

So we go to the movie. Wait one factor I haven't mentioned yet. This was in Pensacola, FL. More than a couple naval aviators in that town.

As you can imagine this was a very enthusiastic crowd. Most of the theater knew the dialogue. Closest experience was like going to a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture show.

We watched the original movie last weekend, looking forward to seeing the new one.

I think they're going to have this in IMAX too? Would be worth the upcharge. I'll be taking my kids to this movie for sure.

Ouch. I thought I was obviously identifiable as over 50. But ever since I lost 40 pounds and started working out I keep getting carded for alcohol. I don't get it. But they don't stop me from going into Sam's early.

I got 10 bags of salt for my water conditioner at Home Depot last week. There was a young guy putting things in the back of his truck that I past on the way to mine.

I was putting the 2nd bag in the back of my truck when the guy steps in and chucks the rest of them in for me. He never said a word, just smiled when I thanked him, then walked to his truck and drove off.

I didn't need the help but wonder what he saw that made him think I did. I looked in the mirror when I got home, everything looked the same to me.;)

Dollars to donuts he was in scouts during his youth.

As much as I liked the first one, saw it several times the summer when it came out -- 18 with nothing to do -- just remember by seeing it you're supporting Tom and his cult. I'll probably breakdown and see it eventually.

I'm gonna plagiarize Blueone:

Ya but the difference is Tom Cruise isn’t shoving koolaid down your throat like the other Tom
