Official 370 Sundancer thread

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of light/led bulb replacement for this boat? I’ve been trying to find the stern light, but eventually I’d like to replace them all.

also, any hints on how to get at the shower bulb would be appreciated. I tried for 10 min to dismantle that thing with no luck.

More dumb questions from the new kid on the block... does anyone know if the swim platform sizing changed from 97 to 98?

To make all of this faster, if you can take a pic of what you are looking at, we don't have to guess. If you are talking about the round flush lights throughout the boat, they are spring loaded (which break easily!) on each side of the bezel. You pull straight down carefully to expose the fixture and access to open it up. I don't remember a light directly in the shower stall, so it may be a mod by the PO. That's why pics will speed this up.

I've never heard that. Radar arch is higher on a 98 for sure.
The wife wants to add foam flooring to the swim platform and a local installer has the template for a 1997 370 and wasn't sure if it would be the same for the 98. That's why I asked.

I'd wager 90% of your interior lights are G4 plugs...if that's what you're looking for? All of the flush mount lights on my boat are spring loaded as mentioned above. I usually use to credit card size pieces of plastic (like you'd get when you buy a vinyl decal) and pry the edges down enough to get my fingers under. My shower light is of this type. It's not always easy to get them started.

Easy to break, as well. As I found out on the first one I tried.

so you just pull those down and a spring type keeper releases? It seems like those are held in really well.

Any tricks to not break them, or is it inevitable?
what breaks are the tangs that are part of the shell of the light, that hold the spring to the side of the lamp. When the tang breaks off, you get no connectivity between the spring arm and the light.
When you get them down enough from the ceiling, grab the two spring arms and hold them vertical while pulling the fixture out. Then let them expand slowly.

got one! It was nerve wracking, but successful. Thank you so much for the advice. Slowly is the ticket.

Can anyone tell me if I would be able to fish a wire from the port radar arch access to the area under the wet bar? Would like to power the 12v TV from a new circuit installed under the wet bar if possible.

Any input?

Assuming the the PO didn't do anything over there, I believe you will find that all wiring is on the Starboard side. Some can fish over to the port side of the arch (like the speaker wires), but to get below the arch to the cabinet, you will have to lie on your back, stick your head in the coaming locker, or worse, where the ice maker cavity is, and look up for any holes cut, or pull the speaker in the bolster on the arch, and look down. I think you will find it much easier to end your run in the arch, and put your cables there over the sink area.
Depends, I guess on where you want your TV.
These days, I would just run power from the ice maker outlet to where the TV is going, and then use a Roku or something wireless that can stream to get your content.
