Hypothetically….
You splashed the boat.
Got all systems working perfect.
Friends call, we all going raft up tomorrow.
You have yet to clean it from winter, boat is an absolute dirty mess, filthy from winter. Black grit in non skid, dusty grit everywhere.
Do you say …..
1. Let’s go party!
2. Decline, too embarrassed to be seen in such a filthy boat!
No other options like send the wife to do an all nighter scrub before you leave. Sorry, don’t know how to poll
Just answer the dam question.

Raft up baby! That's the reason you have the boat right, to have fun? Or do you have it so you can constantly clean it ...

Anchor out separately from the group and dinghy over. You can't be seen in a dirty boat!

I'll be the party pooper.... I'd be spending the day getting it spiffed up. But I'm also one that will wash my truck before pulling it in the garage for the night. If I can't that night it'll be washed first thing in the morning before I go anywhere. I hate being seen in a dirty vehicle.

How long does it take you to clean. I arrive an hour early. Spray and wash it down. Go rinse off, change clothes. And head out. Should give just enough time for the beer to get cold. :)

My days of missing great weather days and fun because the boat is dirty are over. How many times did I go to the boat on a beautiful day, spend that beautiful day cleaning the boat, only to have the weather the rest of the time at the boat turn bad. Enjoy it when you can…

I love my old 98 290 the new and shiny was knocked off of it long ago...... which allowed my cleaning OCD leave me. When I was the 1st owner of a 2012 260 DA that I had for 6 years I could not even stand a shoe mark.

Party, and pick up a little as you party. More than one way to party.

I had completely wrong idea on what this thread was about...

Go to rafting, some of it may wash off in transit :)

I can't show up with a filthy boat. I would be there at the butt crack of dawn to clean. Then (after 8AM) maybe 30 minutes w/pressure washer to get the grit out of the non-skid. Then head out to the raft up by 9AM. Then once there OCD would kick in and I would be doing more occasional / intermittent cleaning while at the raft up. I can clean and chat while rafted up.
