Another “flip the switch” transition from cold to warm in Southern Ontario. Quite cool last week. Not really spring-like. But this is what is coming - finally. I will be at the boat for the first time later today to dewinterize and get the batteries hooked up and charged. No launch date yet. Not in a rush this year.

Have a great weekend all (don’t forget tomorrow is Mother’s Day)

Cool rain and windy here this weekend but gets nicer the end of next week. My wife wanted to go out on the boat for Mother’s Day but that’s not happening!

Someone told me spring is considering making an appearance in Michigan next week. I'll believe it when I see it.

Thinking about launching my boat today. Also wondering if we might not get one more round of snow :)

Yep, rainy and cool in the Annapolis Maryland area, makes it easier to not use the boat on mother's Day weekend

We had 77* last weekend along with sunshine and light breezes.

Now, it's in the low 50's and winds today gusting to 30kts and rain.

FUG DIS STUFF

Great day up here today. Maybe 68 or 70 bluebird skies and no wind. Got the shrink wrap off, canvas back on, and batteries hooked up and charged, and started a bit of cleaning. Big steak dinner outside and then a nap outside on the deck with the dog. Life’s good today.

I don't know how you guys do it. 85 degrees and sunny with an afternoon thunderstorm. Never really stopped boating all winter.

Windier than the devil here. Sustained winds in the 30's with gusts forecasted between 40mph to 50mph.

Small craft warnings were up yesterday. Lots of activity around the marina. About 20% of the boats are floating now. Great week ahead. Dry every day and today will be the coolest of the week with high 70's coming.

And....my boat is still on the hard in Ohio. No launch date scheduled because they are so far behind because of the crummy spring. I think I'll try to get the golf cart over to the marina this week. At least I'll be able to tool around on that.

The ice just went out at my lake home last week. That’s almost 7 months of ice covered lake. Every winter I wonder why I live in this god forsaken part of the country.

I moved out of Michigan 30 years ago because I can't stand the cold. I was never going to leave Florida..... Never say never.... Here I am back in Michigan. Oh well....
