You diesel guys sure aren't kicking our butts quite as badly this year

Too much more of this you'll only be able to brag about superior handling and torque!!! :):)

Stee it really doesn't matter how much more diesel is, they get two or three times better fuel economy than we do. So I hear :D:D:D:D. Just kidding diesel guys.

30 days ago it was about 5.50 at my dock for 91 octane... And that's in Texas where it's typically one of the cheapest states. Not this year!

Sounds like we getting it cheap in MD. On land gas is 4.25, water 4.31. Not much difference.
Hey still sucks monkey balls. But some places a lot worse.

Guess it's only over by Baltimore. Piney has always been the cheapest on the water around here. Safe Harbor is $5.75 for diesel and as a member we get .50 cents off that price. So saving .25 if you want to call it that. ~$2500 to fill up opposed to ~$1400 ...

Anyone else get a discount at their home marina for winter storage and/or summer? We get 15 cents off for each for 30 cents total. I haven't looked at prices yet...too scared.

The truck holds 35g. It’s $5.35 for D and $4.35 for G.

Im shutting the truck down two days a week now. If folks want the prices to come back to the real world all of us will need to cut the demand. As elections come up remember who did this crap to us. Big fuel needs it’s subsisting funding from the government cut!

$5.25 Kent Island, MD 2 weeks ago when I took 200 gallons. @SKybolt looks like they have raised the price since then.

Brag? I was lamenting the closing of the gap for those with diesels...with a dash of humor directed at the "diesel superiority complex". :)
But who started the post...;)

Got the 320 filled up for $4.25 a gallon for 90 grade. By Monday we were up to $4.75 for members and $5.75 for non-members. Was not hard convincing myself it was the best $600.00 I ever spent!
Off topic, you do not need 90 grade, save some $$$, 87 is fine.

My marina upcharges if you store there. They have always been $1 more than the commercial marinas on the lake. This year they are $2.50 more. I refuse to purchase fuel from them. I pay them more than enough for storage.

lol what? they charge you more if you store there?

not allowed in NY, unfortunately. I believe it’s a DEC thing
That's not true. I fill up directly by fuel truck at my marina in Suffolk County, NY. It's usually dependent on the County Fire Marshall, or equivalent, rules and political persuasion.

Thought the same What the?!?!?!
They can only sell gas to people who store there. Should have clarified that. And now they are charging us $2.50 more than the commercial marinas on the lake (who can sell to anyone - the Corps' rules can be weird sometimes). So in reality they are up charging those of us that store there. It's F'd up really, especially since storage rates doubled over the last 3 years. The problem is every marina on the lake has a waiting list for slips and dry storage, as does my marina. So they have the upper hand. They basically do whatever the hell they want and if you complain, they instantly invite you to leave.

We treat the staff really well, take the time to get to know them, ask about their families, just being friendly (of course we tip well, but I always slip that into the tip jar when no one is looking). They appreciate the effort and will go above and beyond to make sure we get everything we need. So I very rarely have to deal with management. Amazingly, lots of people treat the staff like they are beneath them and just hired help at their beck and call. Those same people will ask me how I got my boat launched when the schedule is full and they can't get a launch until late afternoon. I just smile and shrug my shoulders. But I digress.
