Shot this pic this morning while walking the dog along the Columbia River. It was taken about 6:30. It's hard to believe there's about a 2kt current running there.

I've been walking a couple of miles most every day lately. The trail parallels the river at the confluence of the Snake.
I noticed how nice it was also, it was beautiful. Unfortunately, we have a lot going on right now, and not sure when we'll get back out there. It's a beautiful day out there.

You guys on that east side have all the good weather. Even when it's a nasty rainy day, it's so much better than on this side of the range. When it's bad here, I get on Tripcheck and look at the nicer weather over there. Last year it was somewhat warm and sunny. This year the covers are still on and it's been stupid wet. We had a few days of windy but warm weather. I got out and tried to till the garden. Buried the tractor and almost had to pull it out. Ground water is still 1" below the surface.

We've had a pretty wet spring also. I hauled 58 tons of concrete away, started when we had a big rain/snow.
I ended up burying the dump trailer twice, and even my 4wd truck couldn't pull it out.
Had to use the excavator. I had appx 4 ton at a time in it.

So up there got it all? That is actually good to hear. This side of the river didn't get what was needed. The east side is dry. Dad said they reported the wettest April in 60 years. I believe it. I don't have the numbers because I had a deer play with my rain gauge. Doesn't matter where I put that damn thing, the deer and squirrels love to play with it.

S-H-H-H-H-H-H don't let the word get out about what nice weather we have or we'll be chasing away all those idiots from Seattle, Portland and Kalifornika.

That's what I said. It sucks there. All that nasty weather.

Hell all those freaks from Kommiepornia has ruined these states already. Now their playing serious games to keep the two under their communist thumbs.
