Too much more of this you'll only be able to brag about superior handling and torque!!! :):)

Man really that much? We are $3.70 for Diesel at the marina and in the port $3.10.
Gasoline at the marina is over $4.50
I wouldn't brag at all where you are at.

Brag? I was lamenting the closing of the gap for those with diesels...with a dash of humor directed at the "diesel superiority complex". :)

Even with the price being about the same, total fuel bill is still going to be roughly 40%-50% less than gas.

Regardless, my fuel bill will be double what it was last year.

Oh - it's not a complex at all. Even if diesel was more, superiority still reigns without question! It's probably more of a gasoline inferiority complex if anything.

Yes that much.
It is BS . The same tanker that drops fuel at the on land gas station them come down to the lake and pumps it about 1/4 mile to the fuel dock.
Lake price is usually $2.00 higher than land price.

You would think in times like these they would try to keep the lake cost low but Airmark doesnt think that way.

What is crazy is if I have a AirMark employee on my boat on their day off that employee gets 50% off.

And yes I do that :)

Read yesterday that there is a world wide shortage of refined diesel product due to Russia sanctions.

I just came through Florida home to SC. Why is your marina $1.50 a gallon less than anywhere else in Florida I checked? Is it because you aren't on the ICW filling up cruisers that have to get fuel to keep moving?

Don’t know where y’all are, Here gas is cheaper than diesel. Here is one example on my river.

Michigan has monstrous additional taxes applied to fuel pumped on the water. I believe it's also applied disproportionately to gas.

On the streets here diesel is $0.85 more than gasoline right now. Pure silliness...

Correct. Wisconsin has something similar. Do people really think a seasonal marina pays the same price as a BP, Citgo….insert your favorite big brands?

Got the 320 filled up for $4.25 a gallon for 90 grade. By Monday we were up to $4.75 for members and $5.75 for non-members. Was not hard convincing myself it was the best $600.00 I ever spent!

I owned a station and bought fuel wholesale. Infact I also know one of the brand distributers personally. Who ever told you that is full of BS. The gasoline mrkt doesn't work on those type margins period.
In fact when I operated and made a nickle or more we was tickled. Now on the diesel side the spread is better, but not near enough anyone buying it for a 50% discount.
In fact I am involved in a venture that burns alot of diesel fuel, our biggest cost next to labor and its doubled since r fantastic leader took over. we burn 35/40 thousand gallon a month of off road fuel minimum. That is factual sir.

Have any of you guys ever tried calling a fuel distributor to see if they would bring a fuel truck down to a dock (not at your marina!) and fuel you up.

I've done that a few times traveling up and down the Columbia. Sweet prices right out of the truck.

It’s unbelievable the price difference between Michigan and Ohio both land and water.
