Can anyone confirm if the Martyr Anode kits for the 03+ Bravo 3 uses the same parts as the pre 2003 Bravo 3 anode kit, just includes an extra round cavitation plate anode, and a prop nut anode? Same sizes/part numbers? Would make sense to just buy the 03+ BIII kit if so since its the same price and comes with the prop nut then instead of sourcing that elsewhere?

Just ordered the 03+ Bravo 3 kit for my 99. Guess we will see this weekend when i go to swap them out

Our local supplier only brings in the later kits as well. I use them on my '98 B2 drive with no issues.

I just compared the part numbers on a site i found online, and it looks like you're correct. Everything is the same. So if you have a B3, might as well order the 03+ kit regardless, and add the prop anode, and just put the extra cavitation anode away for the future

If I remember correctly, the second cavitation anode is different so you will not be able to use it.

If my memory serves correctly - one has threads and the other is c'bored for the head of a socket head screw.

Yeah for sure. Just meant put it away for another day and another boat hah. Thanks CSR fam

B2/3 kit and B3 kit are same anodes with exception the B3 has extra cav plate anode and prop anode.

Wanted to add prop anode to my B3, but shaft isn't drilled and tapped for bolt. Tried adding the prop anode add on kit for the older B3's but the nut / adapter thread is too shallow causing the tread to bottom out and and won't tighten on the prop..

That being said, I have a new late model B3 aluminum prop anode if anyone wants it.

Strangely enough, the lower housing is the newer style w/ the twin cav plate anodes. Lower case must have been replaced at some point with a newer one.
