Can the plane take off?

My ditch digging buddy just sold his ditch digging company for $35M. So yes, that is correct.

edit: actually it was a lot more - that's what he netted.
Absolutely no slam on anyone performing manual labor. It's just the obviously demeaning way the judge says it. My uncle started out digging ditches, and developed it into a very profitable foundation construction business.

That’s funny…coincidence talking about Chevy last night... No shit I am staying at a hotel while waxing the boat. Sitting at the bar last night i get talking to this guy beside me …turns out he is the 42year old son of the hotel owner. He was in rehab with Chevy chase as a partner in 2016. He said he was a dick and could be funny but mostly a dick. 2 weeks in Chevy disappeared he escaped rehab….. so rehab people saw Chevy on TV … caught by paparazzi… he was back in rehab two days later

Didn't take it that way. It's a saying and it's funny, and my buddy laughs about it too. I just meant to share.

Didn't take it that way, I just to make sure no one out there thinks I meant it in a derogatory way. And, with that, it's time for...

IF that's true, then how can the conveyor possibly "exactly match" the speed of the wheels?
That is the trick part. The scenario is not realistic. Take the logic out which is subjective and apply the physics which are absolute.

Only 27 messages posted during the time it took me to mow the lawn. We need more discussion on this thread.

Once the plane stared to thrust forward, would it not nose dive off the end of the conveyor and snap in half long before it reached the air speed required to generate enough lift to achieve flight?

I quite literally dug ditches (and other shapes of holes) as a laborer when I was attending college.
It was a daily reminder to study hard and stay in school.

We can talk about what oil to use in the CAT 3116......
Or what LED bulbs in the light fixtures.
Or what to do about stinky black water tanks.
Or where is that darn GFI outlet.
Or pigs on the boat.

If it was Spirit Airlines you would have to pay per wheel, regardless of if their speed over ground makes a difference.

You can't post a list like that without giving credit where credit is due; #1 position must be held by the plywood bow cover.

If you put a rocket on a plywood bow cover, then put it on a conveyor that moves the same speed as the plywood bow cover, will it take off?

O I dunno - were you around during the pig on the boat discussions?
But absolutely the plywood needs to be on the list.
And how about the hot tub cut in the 630SSS?

air speed across wing gives lift, since on a conveyor belt makes plane stationary I do not see lift off happening. Surely I am missing something here.

If I'm thinking right (huge if) the conveyor is completely irrelevant.
(losses to friction not withstanding)
