The song thread...

I have a decent collection of vinyl from the past 40 years, like mentioned above, I listen to a wide selection of genre from punk/post punk to Bosa Nova to C & W. It all depends on my mood. Spent alot of my youth crawling around lower Manhattan in small gigs.

One of my favs from back then that I still spin, usually after too many fingers of bourbon on a Friday night. The Cramps.

Another fav I usually play on a typical sunny afternoon with a sixer chilling on ice.

Anything off of this one:

Quite possibly the best album of all time

"Music for me depends on the day, the mood, how much I have drank, etc. GFs has convinced me 90s country is good, too."

Same here!

For someone in his mid 50's, I believe I have an eclectic taste in music, making it too hard to list a favorite, which is reflected in my 37GB iTunes library...... ie: Motown, Sinatra, Beatles, all Classic rock, Zeppelin, Freestyle, Garth Brooks and all he influenced, to name some. No Punk, or Rap. I lean towards music made 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's & 2000's. Other than new country music, most other new stuff doesn't appeal to me. Autotune killed music.

That first one is some weird shit. A bit Jim Morrison like.

Nice to see all the natural women in the freebird video. I saw a Lynyrd Skynyrd about 10 years ago great show

Cage the Elephant, saw them live a few years ago

Royal Blood, one of the best concerts I've been to in the past 10 years, only two guys in the band.

Fixed that for you. You’re welcome.

The Cramps were Horrorbilly, a morph of Psychobilly.

Love the girls at the Oakland Skynyrd show too, never got to see them thow, saw The Cramps numerous times over the years, til Lux Interior died. RIP

Yeah my music depends on day and mood but my go to is 80's rock (mentioned earlier Scorpions, VH, Billy Squier, but can add Bonham, Heart, Judas Priest, and a few others. But some days I like 80's pop. Some newer stuff is good too. Velvet Revolver, Stone Temple Pilots, etc

if you don't jump up and scream and jump up and down while playing this one, check your pulse. My angry mood music:

Love Skillet. Just saw them (again) a few weeks back. And of course the drummer with her own music.

I really like Royal Blood. 2 man band. Love how he double/splits amps the bass and has it octivided. The drummer also is fantastic and pulls it all in. Good straight up rock!
