I was watching a members boat video in their signature, cause you know, that's what I do all day now... :)

The next video was this one. Brings back memories for me growing up (not that area, the boats and railroad boat stuff).

Bought the boat 6 years ago; Lake Simcoe. 3 week trip to get it back to Buffalo, headed east and exited the system in Trenton. Cleared Customs in Cape Vincent N.Y. and boat was back in the U.S. legally. Headed south through Oswego and west to Buffalo via the Erie Canal.

Best part of the trip was the Trent Severn, Peterborough lock is memorable and an engineering marvel. Highly recommend the system and hope to do it again someday.

We have done the Trent from Georgian bay to Lake Ontario twice now…. We went to orillia from Port Severn probably 15 times… beautiful area ….a must see…. Favorite town is bobcaygeon …. Second is Peterborough for Purvey’s fish and chips.
