Leak from Bravo III

You are a new member who received great advice for free from some very knowledgable folks on here, a simple thanks would have been the best response.
I suggest you run a bead of caulk around the TA on the outside as suggested, neatly and completely. If the leak stops, you know the issue thanks to Scoflaw. That buys you time, is simple, let’s you use the boat until you can have it fixed properly.

I dont see a zinc on the hyd hose mount, there is a rubber plug that goes in there to seal the hole if a mercathode is not installed. I agree it low around the hyd hoses.

I have thanked them multiple times as well. I am not being unappreciative, I just don't have the means to lift the boat on a trailer, or any of the suggestions other than running a bead. I will try that, and now I will look at the zinc on the end of the mount. I have a parts manual here.

I'll bet that you'll eventually end-up taking that drive off... been there. Leaks like that drive you crazy until you disassemble the drive and can then inspect each piece of the puzzle. Write it off as the major disadvantage of a stern-drive boat: there's a big hole in the back with expensive gear hanging in the water.

He’s probably still putting all his random tools away :)
