A lesson learned - Count the splines on your pump. At least for the QSM11 there are two pumps; the early pump has 14 splines (Sherwood 18000K) and the later pumps have 10 splines (Sherwood 29000K). You mentioned 17000K and 26000K which keyed me. I had a pump replaced so I have to carry both impellers as spares.
Tom
Actually the 17000K may be keyed and 26000K splined which are not interchangeable at all.

Ok whats going on here guys... What is on your list of to do's this winter to get you on the water better than ever. I have a few things but always looking to do more
1. galley sink drain through hull
2. replace swim step bolts (I deceided against doing the lift for now)
3. Some electrical upgrades on the dock for my new dinghy lift
4. fix a small leak on the port side wiper motor
5. engine water pump impellers
6. genset water pump impeller
7. oil change on all engines including the Jet Ski
8. setting up rig to tow my Novurania dingy
9. Finish my sunshade set up for my bow

I am sure I will find more to do but this is my list for now....

@ocgrant
Tell me about the bow sunshade project?
I've ripped out all the old Sony stereo stuff and have the fusion system wired, just putting finishing touches on it.
Also re-wiring the speaker LEDs...

Yes, please fill us in on the sunshade idea, I’m thinking about doing a sunshade on the bow of my 2002 510DA….pics too.

1. Changing Nav lights to LED
2. Changing raw water pump impellers: mains and gen
3. Removing Raymarine 240 VHF and replacing with Vesper Cortex system.
4. Replacing Shakespeare VHF antenna
5. Adding dedicated GPS antenna for Vesper Cortex
6. Walker AirSep field service kit on both mains

My marina is doing the complete raw water train maintenance: after coolers and heat exchangers. They are replacing some cracked hose identified at survey. Replacing the belt on the generator.

So got this done today… Admiral is super happy. No more macaroni incidences in the sump again.

So anyone do anything with the cockpit sink faucet? I hate how it is offset, you wash your hands and you get water everywhere. The base is so far from the sink it is stupid. Looking for ideas here? I don't want to drill new holes and I don't want something taller. I am thinking about finding a place to remake the faucet tube to push out farther into the middle of the sink.

Good thoughts Grants, and i'm gonna start researching. Do you have the measurements, or do I need to visit the boat? I don't think we need as much rise as the current faucet. Maybe something like this would work:

I have seen those but they are small. I am in Georgia this week and not back to the boat until this weekend...sorry. I believe the top faucet pipe is removable and stainless. So I am thinking to find a way to have a new one made, cut and weld the flange onto a new pipe, shape and polish.

Hi Guys, does anyone know how many microns does Searay recommends for fuel filters on our engines and generator.
Thanks
Rod

On the hardtop end does it use the existing zippers or another method of anchoring?
It slides into the bead slide mounted to the top. I removed the zippers as I have a new rear cover that does not have zippers at the top. It has a bead sewed into the canvas and it just slides into the bead track. That way I take the cover off and just slide in the top then pop the poles in and pull it tight. All takes about 5 minutes
