A little Xmas gift to myself.

Props are now ISO class 1.

had a diver pull the props and sent them to “ The Prop shop” in Mukiteo WA.

For those of you in the NW these guys are great to work with and turn around time shipping and all was five days.

They found that the prop where cupped Differently from one another and that’s why my engines have been running about 800 RPMs off and the boat turning to port when let go of the steering wheel. They also found A slight vibration in the port prop.

Can’t wait to get them back on.

Damn those look great!!

Nice, thanks for the writeup on them. I've been thinking about having my wheels done, I'm going to haulout in early spring to get a new swim platform installed, so that may be a good time to do this too since the boatyard I use is close(ish) to Mukilteo.

Merry Christmas!!! You and I must have been on the Good list this year! Look what he left under my tree!!

Mine were done by by Ray at NorthCoast Props in Huron OH. I shipped on a Wednesday, back the following saturday morning. I took about 1" of pitch out of mine getting the RPM back were they belonged. Going back on the boat tomorrow!!!

I have been using Tacoma Prop and they also own the one in Seattle. What kind of pricing did you get from The Prop Shop ?

As long as we are talking Props. I got to give a shout out to my boys over at Black Dog Props on Kent Island, MD. I took my spare props to them just to know if they were good. Had no reason to believe they had any problems and they looked like they had never been in the water but i thought ya know, I just want to know if they are good to go. I took them to Black Dog Props and the props were perfect. But ya know what, Black Dog refused to charge me anything. They said, "No Charge". Are you kidding me? That is customer service. I tried to pay something, even as a tip. The owner wasn't having any of it. Man that felt good.

Ugg he couldn't get that one blade better..lol.. It's still class I, but little things like that drive me crazy. Here are mine. Sad part is these are the ones I hit a rock with. Never the same afterwards.:( I will be picking up my Brand NEW set of Michigan DQX wheels next week though.
