Yellowstone

Great start to the new season, a must watch for us on Sunday nights...

The thing that’s is so great about Yellowstone is the combination of beautiful scenery, every kids fantasy of the cowboy rancher life, a study of human nature and flaws and strengths, all wrapped in a complex family dynamic. Its a very deep show once the layers start to build. I think its more like Sons of Anarchy than Sopranos but I see similarities.

Maybe not too far

Maybe not too far-fetched either. I once asked my grandfather, a rancher, what would happen on the Prarie ranches if a criminal were discovered. Oh, he said, they would just "leave town."

"I jacked off a horse!"
Well, since I haven't watched an episode in two weeks (we like to save them up and watch them back to back), I will assume that this is a reference to an episode and not to your new found love of horses ;)

We were watching on YouTube TV, no season 2 :<( jumped to season 3, what did we miss?
Need Peacock to stream the first three seasons. Alternatively you could just buy the season from Amazon Prime for $20. That is how I am watching season four.

We bought season 1 and didn’t go any further it’s pretty predictable for us, and at times a little far fetched. I may be in the minority but not a fan.
Someone described it as a cowboy sopranos series which I’ve never seen the Sopranos believe it or not.

That seems accurate. It also has many similarities to Sons Of Anarchy, a shoe the creator of Yellowstone acted in.
