Show it to whoever you want..as long as you are honest with the context around it. I have served more time with Marines and Navy than I can believe. Not a one of them had as thin of skin as some of the peaches on here.
Go from someone calling me a dipstick over buying a foreign gun to posting a picture of some cross dresser and all of a sudden people are offended? Get a life.

The Marin
The Marines are technically a Department of the Navy. Not a separate branch of the military.
There has been a long longstanding joke by other branches to harass Marines by saying "they are just a department of the Navy". To which the common response is/was...Yeah, the men's department.
Anyone who is in the military would know clearly Marines are not someone you would seriously pick a fight with or harass outside of humor.
Clearly if you are not in/from the military and are accustomed to the humor/rivalry but honestly have each others back sibling kidding, you might not get it.

Forgive me if I don’t see any military reference in the post of the Meme Hawk posted. I have seen that meme posted before and never was it in any reference to the armed services.
I am still learning you know.
When I have been on any base I focused on what I was doing to complete my mission. I was only exposed to officers so I have no understanding of how the enlisted conduct themselves. I do know it was not an environment with any loose talk.
I did not insult you or put you down. If you took it that way please accept my humble apology.

No apologies necessary, I have skin as thick as someone growing up with a German grandfather and an older brother (Marine) and military to toughen up what else was needed. Not to mention changing impellers on my boat which is the worst of all.
I have served on Camps, Forts/Posts, Bases and a an installations without nomenclature serving with all branches both US and foreign - meaning, I have heard it all.
Mission focus of course....having beers after...let the banter between services begin. And good times where you had to put pride aside and take it.
