Hi All-

Looking for suggestions on my captain chair on our 02 Sundancer. No tears or rips but despite my best detailing steps and/or cleaning supplies...can not get the stains and sun discoloration out of the vinyl. I took the seat out yesterday when I was doing a complete cleaning and polish of the cabin to make it easier to run the polisher.
I would like to keep it as OE as possible in terms of vinyl color and maybe the OE S/R embroidery and piping. Suggestions of vendors who can supply replacement vinyl? Thanks for your assistance.

Wet it, and then soak it with Marine 31. Walk away for 10-15 minutes. Rinse. Protect.
If it's mildew, it will come back periodically, so you just repeat the process

It's 20 years old....I'd take it and the matching port side chairs to the upholsterer. It's no bid deal for them to re- upholster in the exact same marine grade vinyl. They can even sew in the Sea Ray logo.

This 3 step process worked well for me, assuming yours is the same color.

The dye is labeled "Carver White", but it matched my other cushions perfectly. It might be worth it to try this first and then fall back to reupholstery if it doesn't give you the desired results.

For factory look probably any of the chalk whites will come close enough to matching. That seat does not sit again anything where the color would be noticeable.

Be warned that seat is four parts and pain to take apart and put back together so it probably will not be cheap. I would start with the Marine31 as suggested above.

If you do go the route of reupholstering you may want to add some color while you have a chance to. Also, and shop familiar with marine should be able to put the logo back in.
