Now that I've done a ton of work, I'm curious what my boat is probably worth. Any guesses? After taking out another couple and kids last weekend, I may or may not have twofootitus lol
It's a 97 290DA with a new/rebuilt 7.4L. Fresh water cooled. New transom assembly also. Everything works as it should and I've done a ton of upgrades and replacements.
I just installed a brand new bimini and cockpit enclosure with a windowed slant back.
There are only two known issues that I haven't finished addressing. I don't have a transom seat or rail cushion and I haven't replaced the dash visor. It's a factory installed generator boat, but it doesn't have one installed right now.

Whatever someone will pay you for it. Lol!

My guess, maybe $25,000-$30,000...

Exactly right. What the market will bare...
The number you gave is what I was thinking also. Delivery possible and trailer as an additional option also.

That was the first thing I did, but what's listed out there and reality are sometimes two different things.
If there are some broker listings you have to expect they'll be at the top of the pricing but still realistic. NADA boat pricing would be at the rock-bottom. They haven't kept with the strong market. Springtime brings more buyers.
I'll be listing my Cobia in the spring. There was no sense in the trying now living in Michigan.

NADA has you at around 34 to 38k with the generator and without the trailer.

Springtime will sell easier but then you’ll be shopping at the peak too

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t

I figured NADA etc would be estimating basically a perfect boat so I always take it with a grain of salt. They never seem realistic to me for cars, trucks & motorcycles so I figure they'll be even worse for boats.

You could probably get 30-35 for it in this market I’d bet.

mines going up soon I think. Nada says 72 for mine but I’m betting 60-62 tops

Some unsolicited advice :)

Were I to walk through your boat the first thing I'd notice when entering the cabin would be that caulked edge that needs to be addressed on the forward edge of your countertop (wicked cheap and easy). Then I'd notice the microwave. The rest of your cabin looks pretty dang spotless. I'd fix those two things before listing it...

Absolutely agreed. Those two things bug the heck out of me and have been on the "short list". I want to replace the microwave for aesthetics reasons even though it works fine. I just can't figure out how to remove it lol

She’s a beauty. If I didn’t live in salt it would be perfect for us.
My guess is $30K.

Where is the boat located now? I would talk to a local broker, doesn't mean you will list it with them. As someone who has been looking for a long time, it really is what a buyer will pay and sold comps are all over the place.

Near Williamsburg in my yard on the trailer. If I decide to list it, I'd probably give a broker a call. This was more of me starting to think about it, but I'm starting to think harder... Seeing how you're local, and I know you have been beating on all their hatches, do you have any recommendations? If you PM them to me I'd appreciate it.

Also count on losing some boat bucks if going through a broker. Around here they work off some percentage of the sale price but have a minimum of $4000. Also, without the generator installed you will lose some over a similar listing where the genny is installed and working.

I would want to enjoy them new parts for at least a season or two. Unless they come with warranty, they are really only as good as used. Likely won't make much difference in the end as far as the final sale price goes.

As to the removal of the microwave, it's screwed to the board under it, then slid in and then the board is secured with long screws from the underside of the cupboard with the tambour doors below it.
Depending on the screws used, prepare your wrist and your stubby screw driver skills along with any other ideas you can come up with for such an extraction.
