How bout a cigar thread

Tried another Chelada, Sol, which I love, as a Mexican beer, but the Chelada, no comparison to the Modelo Chelada, which is exquisite! The Sol tastes fake AF, the Modelo, as far as fake lime flavor goes, is immaculate!

Hanging with my dad yesterday, he loves cigars so I took him a few and picked up this Java by Drew Estates for myself…didn’t notice it had a mint band at the bottom (didn’t think id like the mint), but it was a really smooth, easy smoke and the mint flavor was very subtle, I actually enjoyed it a lot.F0995F3B-F5C1-4864-87FB-58806EDEA045.jpeg

Interesting, my buddy likes the Java, I am not a coffee guy though

I had a surprisingly great smoke the other day.

A customer of mine just got back from a trip to Savanah and picked up a box of Savanah Twists.

It was rustic looking with a really dark and oily wrapper. They’re dipped in bourbon, dried and boxed.

I loved it.

Actually he’s a bit of a dick. Every magnanimous gesture is countered by at least 2 insults or arguments.

They took me out to dinner that last night which shocked me. What didn’t shock me was the constant reminders during dinner that they preferred my predecessor who ripped them off but did an amazing job of kissing their asses while doing so.

Afterwards they commented that I should have offered to pick up the tab after making a big show of the invitation for weeks in advance.

He, his father and another like them are the reasons that Friday was my last day at that gig. Too much stress, not enough satisfaction but plenty of money.

On to the next gig which should adequately get me through the next 2 years to retirement.

Anyway, a helluva smoke for the final ride home from that snake pit.
