I recently had to upgrade from a E120 MFD to a Axiom 12 RV. i lost my connection from the DSM300 which had temp/depth and speed display. Have been looking for a male plug (7 pins, see picture) to fit into the Transducer cable and then to the 25 pin Axiom connection.
I feel very insecure without at least a depth readout.
Any help in finding a connector would be very appreciated.

First go to your transducer and get the transducer p/n on the white label near your transducer mount the reach out to their support and tell them what you have. They are super helpful and will have an adaptor to get it to work

When you first call the Raymarine 800 tech number, you will get an overseas call center reading from a script. Tell the operator that you wish to be transferred to Mark in the US support center. This is where your questions will be answered and troubleshooting will take place.

After spending a lot of money on Axiom and transducer, I was unhappy with the transducer performance in very shallow waters. I called them which was completely useless. I couldn't understand the guy, he had no idea what I was talking about.

I then found an old forum explaining some default settings to set and then send sonar pictures to them. It took 3-4 weeks to get a reply which was nonsense. I gave up, they closed the ticket. I don't expect much from any customer service - I tend to know or research more than they do. But for the cost, I did expect a better response.

They unfortunately discontinued their Raymarine forums, which was the best source of sharing knowledge between users. I'll have to try that Facebook group as well.

Any calls I ever made to Raymarine were useless. Either didn't speak the language (figuratively and sometimes literally) or was nasty and short on troubleshooting help. Their customer service is anything but.

I usually call the US direct number 603-324-7900 and then I ask for Mark. I never get the overseas operators. However, the result is usually the same ...

I have had very good results with raymarine via their website
https://raymarine.custhelp.com/

They typically come back the next day or worst case was a 2 day wait. And they do follow-up a week later before closing the case.

I think I will try Airmar and see what happens. Thanks all for feedback.

There does not seem to be a suitable connector available. Rather than buying a seperate new transducer and display and installing it at the helm, Is there another way I could connect the 3 pin depth transducer and the ST 800 Airmar speed and temp transducer to my Smartcraft or smaller GPS ? ( not sure what model but it does pass on gps speed to the smartcraft display)
With my previous E120 and DSM 300, the 3 pin and ST800 connected to a Y connector and connected to the DSM300.

I have had this set up a couple ways as I moved from an a Series to the Axiom.

With the Axiom, you likely can directly connect the transducer to the Axiom and use an adapter cable (and sell the DSM300). This is a 7 to 25 pin adapter. I have a B60 transducer connected directly with an A80498 adapter. You need to find the Airmar tag on the cordset and confirm the exact transducer. The available adapters are listed in the very back of the Axiom manual.

Once you get this connected you should be able to use the fish finder app and be able to select that transducer as a depth source.

As for temperature and speed, that may come from that same transducer, but may also come from a DST Depth, Speed Temperature) transducer. Look in your bilge and see if there is 1, 2 or 3 transducers. Follow the cordset and post a picture of the tag(s). The part number will determine what other parts you might need to get all function back.

The 1st pic is a Y cable that connects to the DSM300 the second pic is the Temp/speed transducer cable. The last pic is the depth transducer cable. Those 2 are connected to the Y cable. I cannot find a cable that has the 7 pin male configuration in order to connect the y cable to the Axiom

Are all of those connected to the DSM300? Looks like 2 copies of the same thing possibly?

Regardless, the large connector in the first picture is your transducer. The A80489 will connect to that and then directly to your Axiom. This is a pic of the A80489 ends that will connect to the large transducer cable, then strait to the Axiom 25 Pin. $52 at BOE Marine. Jim's a member here.

The other 3 pin looks to me to be the power connection to the DSM300

I suggest getting this sorted out first, and see what data the transducer will supply. I suspect only sonar and a depth reading. Maybe temperature, and I think unlikely speed. Speed is usually a paddle wheel.

Not sure if your at the boat, but I think your going to have to find if anymore transducers and get some part numbers.

This is likely your setup. Data from the DSM300 was communicated to the E-series via SeaTalk hs which are the RJ-45 connection in your picture. Using the A80489, you will bypass all of this, and the Axiom will use it internal sounder to power the transducer.

Yes that was my exact setup.
I finally received the Raymarine A80489 adapter cable. After the winter I will install it and see if it solves my problem.
Thanks all for the advice.

Well, I installed the A80489 adaptor cable. However, I cannot sem to get the depth, speed or temp information on my Axiom.
