My Favorite Time of Year

The last two weekends here in NC have just been great - clear blue skies, warm but not oppressively humid and all the wake boats full of kids are gone! Sometimes it is so quiet out on the lake it sounds "loud" if you know what I mean. I have seen Osprey diving for fish, seaplanes land and I can take a nice ride without loosing fillings. We have about 3-4 more weekends of this. Our marina does a "Fall Boat Cruise" around the end of October, which is basically an nice long boat ride to the far north reaches of Lake Norman after that I usually put the boat away for the winter. I hate that the time is short, but what great time of year to be on the lake here in NC!

The lake is pretty this time of year. Was my favorite time too. Much quieter.

Did mine Saturday. Thank you PO. Never had one, love it this time of year.
