450 DA 1997 Model Year 139,000

Food for thought!
We sold our 450 back in 2015 and several years before that fuel was 4.85 per gallon so on our trips 1/2 tank cost us 960.00 and we never went below 1/2.So since it's been sold we are fortunate that a pier neighbor purchased her and keeps her pristine which brings a smile and many fond memories for us.The point is enjoy your boat no mater what the prices are because a good memory is worth every penny down the (water road).

Have a safe 4th of July,

Tommy

Going to be a one boat owner soon. With a saddened heart and lifestyle change we are selling our wonderful ( floating tiny home Aqua Lodge ) from the Kent Island area off the Chesapeake. The Lodge has been a wonderful place to just chill out with all the comforts of home.We still have our Boston Whaler 160 super sport just to keep our feet wet. Down to one now..
Yesterday we sold our Aqua Lodge to a great couple who will enjoy it as much as we have for 6 years. We have found that in the last two seasons we haven't been to the marina as much due to life changes. We still have our Boston Whaler 160 SS for keeping our feet wet until the next chapter begins .....stay tuned.

Hello all,
We have friends trying to sell their boats. One is a Sea Ray 320 and the other a Cruisers 420 that are in very good condition and haven't had much luck.I was thinking with all the unfortunate damage in Florida to boats do ya think the market will be in demand again for quality used boats?

Funny thing.....

I simply ADORE my 450 DA - 1996 - galley to port.

Such a well thought out, well designed, well engineered vessel.

This one came with both bow and stern thrusters.

I single handle this vessel, as I did my 10 meter for 21 years.

I'm adding a multi-channel REMOTE that will handle the thrusters, cablemaster and anchor.

That remote will be on a lanyard, tied to my belt, or I can wear it around my neck.

With this addition I can continue to easily single handle her as I age. I can be standing on the bow with a line in my hand, if the wind pushes me away from the dock or piling, I simply bump the thruster.

Maybe I've tied off with an aft line, and I'm on the dock and the wind pushes her bow away from the dock - same thing.

Finally, I had a boarding assist pole on the 10 meter. Bought it on line. It fit into a rod holder and had a bend on it. Grab ahold of this as an assist for boarding/disembarking. I need to add rodholders on both sides to make this work.

The cablemaster remote deal will make shore power duties a snap.

These additions will allow me the ability to keep on running with the 450 DA as long as I continue to be physically mobile.

This truly IS the LAST BOAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEST !

At 65 now, my aim is to stay in this game as long as I can.

Was a good part of the motivation in moving from the 33' Trojan, climb over the transom, one head, crawl in the bed boat.
