What is your LABOR DAY Destination ?

I'm going to Marquette for their annual blues fest, last year there was none due to covid. Winds of fall are becoming more frequent now, last Sunday it really got nasty. I hope some good days align for some nice holiday partying. The event is in the park next to the marina, if I have a few to many drinks I've only got to stagger a 1/4 mile back to the marina...where I'm sure I'll be offered a few more.

AH, Lower Harbor in Marquette Michigan. Great place, enjoy.
 
headed to Portsmouth Oh, boat races and bands on the Ohio River. Hopefully Ida doesn't screw up river conditions.
 
We just wrapped up a 10 day cruise. Labor Day weekend will be spent at port in Charlevoix. Had hoped to hit Mackinac Island but guests and other activities will keep us at our home port. Be safe out there folks!!
 
I'm going to a popular island on the bay. I want to see the chit show. Gonna get out early before the boat ramp traffic and get a good "seat". I want to see what everyone talks about.
 
I'm just hoping to spend some time on the boat alone social distancing myself from society.

I'm tired of only looking at the boat via web cam.

But think goodness work is plentiful this year.

I am going camping and boating with these two guys and a few others. I’m on the left. We go camping and sometimes boating(not all have a boat) almost all holidays. Heading to Paynetown State Recreation Area on Lake Monroe, Indiana.

I’ve been camping with these two thru seven different decades. We grew up together in the same neighborhood. And we went to this elementary school which just closed for good. Same High School and Colleges.

Staying in the Marina, our Suisun YC is welcoming Oxbow YC for a visit, with many activities planned. Welcome dinner / Happy Hour, Saturday dice and cornhole games, cook your own BBQ, last live concert of the season at the Suisun City Waterfront, Brunch on Sunday, NASCAR too. And the Land Yacht members will bring their RV's to the point and festivities. Will be a safe blast!

We were going to boat to our favorite restaurant for lunch but after Ida came through we'll be driving by car. There's so much debris in the river right now I wouldn't get out of the side creek we're on without damaging my prop.
 
Changed my mind. Marinemax Sarasota is holding their annual Aquapalooza on Sunday. We will cross the bay to New Pass and anchor off on the sand bar across from the seawall where the bands will be. I'm sure it will be a bit of a chit show, but I can handle that.

Anchored in the “usual spot” - Glorietta Bay (San Diego) for the long weekend. Quiet thus far, but it’s only Friday…
 
Great trip to Rogers City Marina thus far. Got to really work my trim tabs and see the changes in mph...good learning.

Fish tournament here this weekend (which i was unaware of) so busier than usual, but one of our new favorite places.
