Our yacht club has a lot of privately owned, metal boat houses in addition to slips. The only wood is in the deck and any private apartments that are inside. This fire was in one of the boat houses on my dock (It ha an apartment inside as well)..

Did you have smoke damage? That can effect electronics, water tanks, as well as the esthetics. The smoke particles cover everything inside and outside the boats that are in enclosed area fires.

Good question. From the news, it appeared to be contained in his boat house with one roof penetration. We are in an open slip about 50' away. We'll be up there by Noon to access...
